Mulberry Pear
Mulberry Pear is our only fortified Wine. It is an “Amarone, Port Style” We pick the mulberries in June, dry them in our greenhouse, then soak them is a Pear Brandy for 4 months. We then start the fermentation on our Bartlett Pear then fortify it with the Mulberry Mixture.
The wine is then aged for 18 months in 5-year-old French Oak in order to incorporate the flavours. Displays aromas and flavours of spiced pear, fig, and cassis.
